Our Culture

At Mental 360, our culture is founded on inclusivity, youthfulness, creativity, and innovation. We’re driven by the belief that mental health in Kenya can only be transformed through genuine community engagement and storytelling.

Our guiding philosophy, “nothing for us without us,” underscores our commitment to youth-led healing. By encouraging individuals to share their experiences, we empower personal wellness journeys and cultivate environments where every voice is valued.

Through our holistic mental health approach, we integrate therapy, advocacy, and creative expression. As pioneers in youth mental health advocacy, we challenge stigma and promote open, honest conversations.

Our tagline, #ConversationsSaveLives, encapsulates our mission to create safe spaces for people to connect, seek help, and support each other. Mental 360 is more than a mental health organization—we’re a movement driving change across communities in Kenya.

Our Approach to Mental Health in Kenya

At Mental 360, we recognize that even well-designed mental health programs can fall short if they don’t genuinely connect with their audience. That’s why our approach is human-centered, inclusive, and deeply rooted in youth engagement and cultural relevance.

Our Social Enterprise Model

Mental 360 operates as a non-profit social enterprise, ensuring sustainability while maintaining accessible mental health care.

Here’s how:

  • Community Impact Programs: Funded by donors, these target vulnerable groups and underserved communities across Kenya.

  • Corporate Wellness Services: We offer tailored packages to companies at market rates, helping sustain our operations.

  • Sliding Scale Pricing: Individuals can pay what they can afford. Those unable to pay undergo an assessment and may receive free mental health therapy.

  • Equity over Income: We define “at-risk” not just by income but by mental health need, ensuring mental health care in Kenya reaches all who require it.
